§ Miss Richardsonasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what would be the cost of (i) raising the £1 disregard on part-time earnings of claimants of supplementary benefit required to register for work to £2; (ii) raising the £2 disregard on part-time earnings of claimants of supplementary benefit not required to register for work and of the wives of claimants to £4; and (iii) disregarding the total of any earnings of dependent children of claimants on supplementary benefit.
