Mr. Michael Latham

asked the Secretary of State for Trade (1) what was the value of imports of copper from Chile in each of the years 1966 to 1973 inclusive, expressed at both constant and actual prices; and what were the equivalent figures for the first three months of 1974;

(2) what was the value of imports of copper from Zambia in each of the years 1966 to 1973 inclusive, expressed at both constant and actual prices; and what were the equivalent figures for the first three months of 1974.

asked the Secretary of State for Trade (1) what was the tonnage of copper imported into the United Kingdom from Zambia during each of the years 1966 to 1973 inclusive; what were the equivalent figures for the first three months of 1974; and what percentage of the total imports of copper in each year these figures represented;

(2) whether he will list the countries, other than Chile and Zambia, from which copper was imported into the United Kingdom during each of the years 1966 to 1973 inclusive; what was the tonnage in each year from each such country; and what percentage it represented of total copper imports in each case;

(3) what was the tonnage of copper imported into the United Kingdom from Chile during each of the years 1966 to 1973 inclusive; what were the equivalent figures for the first three months of 1974; and what percentage of the total imports of copper in each year these figures represented.
