§ Dr. Boysonasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will take steps to relieve housing associations of the consequence of the rents freeze that it includes a freeze on any increase brought about by the increase in the cost of fuel oil for hot water and central heating, &c.
§ Mr. FreesonProvision is made in the Housing Bill for some adjustment to subsidies payable to housing associations to help them meet the effects of the freeze. I am considering whether further measures may be necessary, particularly in relation to service charges.
