§ Sir G. de Freitasasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he will receive the deputation of councillors as requested in the letter TFP/ SS/C30.05 of 3rd April from the Chief Executive Officer of Corby District Council to discuss the increase in the rates as the result of the decision referred to in the Department's letter of 14th March.
§ Mr. OakesTogether with my right hon. Friend I have already had the opportunity of discussing with deputations from Northamptonshire County Council and Northampton District Council the decision on domestic rate relief, and the effects of the 1974–75 353W grant settlement generally. We are therefore now well aware of the views of local authorities in Northamptonshire on these matters.
