§ Mr. EnnalsCommercial officers in British embassies have standing instructions to be on the watch for cases of unfair competition, such as attempts by foreign firms to register trade marks, generic terms or geographical descriptions associated with Britain or British products. They would regard attempts to register local companies in the names of Scottish companies in the same light.
