§ Mr. Bruce-Gardyneasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (1) what steps he has taken to date to set up a system of veterinary inspection at the point of disembarkation for exported live animals, as recommended by the O'Brien Committee;
(2) what progress he has made to date towards the recruitment of a team of inspectors for the live animal export trade, as recommended by the O'Brien Committee;
(3) what progress he has made to date towards the introduction of a revised certification system for slaughterhouses as recommended by the O'Brien Committee;
(4) what progress he has made to date with the establishment of the export supervisory body recommended by the O'Brien Committee;
(5) what progress he has made to date with the establishment of a register of approved livestock exporters, as recommended by the O'Brien Committee.
