§ Mr. Corrieasked the Secretary of State for Industry if he will give the reasons for the shortage of baler twine in Great Britain; and whether the purchase of this commodity by Europeans on the retail market in Great Britain at a lower price than in Europe is a contributing factor.
§ Mr. MeacherThere is no general shortage, and total production this year is expected to be enough for the 1974 harvest. I know of no evidence that Europeans are buying this commodity on the retail market.
