§ Mr. FreesonI fully appreciate Sheffield's difficult housing problems, in whose solution the Government are anxious to assist. Sheffield Metropolitan District Council is the local authority which has executive powers to deal with housing in the city. An action group would not meet the needs which led to the setting up of such a group in London, where there is no single executive housing authority.
