§ Mr. Michael Lathamasked the Secretary of State for Prices and Consumer Protection whether she will list the trade associations representing retailers with whom she is consulting officially regarding the proposed amendments to the price code on profit margins; and whether she will indicate which of them particularly represent small businesses.
§ Mr. MaclennanWe shall be consulting the Retail Consortium. The consortium includes the National Chamber of Trade and Retail Alliance, both of which 335W represent the interests of a wide range of small retailers. Our officials will be meeting the Association of British Chambers of Commerce and other representatives of the small retailer, including the food retailers.
