HC Deb 02 April 1974 vol 871 c334W
Mr. Parry

asked the Secretary of State for Prices and Consumer Protection if she will make a statement on her recent visit to Liverpool.

Mr. Maclennan

Because my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State was unable to be present, I visited Liverpool on 22nd March to open the city of Liverpool's consumer advice centre. In my speech I welcomed the establishment of such centres, which make it possible for consumers to obtain ready access to help and consumer advice.
