asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will seek to amend the supplementary benefits regulations to enable a claimant to live as a member of a relative's household to be treated as a commercial boarder.

No. If it is appropriate for a relative to be treated as a boarder for supplementary benefit purposes, the Supplementary Benefits Commission has discretion to do so.
