§ Mrs. Renée Shortasked the Secretary of State for the Environment why Raleigh Hall, Eccleshall, is being put up for auction; and if he will consider its use for other residential purposes.
§ Mr. ChannonGovernment Departments and local authorities, including Stafford County Council and Stone Urban District Council, have expressed no interest in the buildings and site of Raleigh Hall either for residential or other uses. Following Government policy it is therefore being sold to the public.
