§ Mr. Tom BoardmanMy Department is in close touch with the steel industry on the problem of steel shortages which is world wide. The allocation of supplies is a matter for the steel industry and specific cases of difficulty should be raised with the suppliers. I have informed the BSC of particular shortages which have been brought to my notice.
