Mr. Faulds

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department (1) whether he will now give revised figures for the number of licensed taxis he estimates that there are proportionate to population in the 10 largest conurbations in England and Wales;

(2) how many private hire vehicles he estimates that there are, proportionate to population, in the 10 largest conurbations in England and Wales.
