§ Mr. EmeryI am informed that consumers are told by the industry before conversion that they are not required to purchase new appliances. If my right hon. Friend will let me know of any case where misrepresentation by salesmen is alleged, I shall ask the Chairman of the British Gas Corporation to investigate.
