HC Deb 24 July 1973 vol 860 c359W
57. Mr. Iremonger

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what steps he is taking to give redress to the occupier of 178 Clayhall Avenue, Ilford, in respect of his Department's failure to allow him to be heard in objection to the planning appeal made for an adjoining property, about which he has had correspondence from the hon. Member for Ilford, North.

Mr. Graham Page

None. A decision once issued on an appeal is final; therefore no redress can be given. It was the local planning authority which did not comply with the normal practice and notify the occupier of 178 Clayhall Avenue, as it had been asked by the Department to do.
