Sir John Tilney

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether he will publish in table form the aid given to Nigeria in each of the last five years.

Mr. Wood

The information is as follows:

the police in the Palace of Westminster being permitted to remove their coats during the summer period while on duty.

Mr. William Hamilton

asked the Lord President of the Council if he will raise with the Services Committee the question of authorising the police working within the precincts of the Palace of Westminster to wear a more appropriate and comfortable uniform.

Mr. Prior

The rules regarding the dress of police officers in the Palace of Westminster are a matter for the police authorities.
