HC Deb 09 July 1973 vol 859 c278W
Mr. Grimond

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether any steps have been taken to find a doctor for the island of Flotta.

Mr. Gordon Campbell

I propose to accept the recommendation of the Scottish Medical Practices Committee, which it made after visiting Orkney, that when the general practitioner on Flotta, who has about 80 patients, retires at the end of July, the practice should be amalgamated with that of Longhope, Hoy, where the general practitioner has about 400 patients.
