§ Mr. David Steelasked the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will make representations to the EEC Commission to undertake a Community programme to stop the export of live animals.
§ Mrs. FennerWe support the Council of Europe Convention for the Protection of Animals in International Transport and intend to ratify as soon as possible. It would not be practicable to ban the movement of live animals between members of the Community.
