144WAWhat mileage allowance is paid to R.A.F. personnel serving at Cottesmore and South Luffenham respectively who use their own car to reach the airfield at which they serve.
§ LORD CARRINGTONMarried R.A.F. personnel travelling in private cars of over 150 c.c. capacity between their homes and place of duty are paid a mileage allowance of 1.7p per mile, less a deduction of 50p per week as a personal contribution towards the cost of travel. For those personnel who live in private accommodation the mileage allowance is restricted to a maximum of £3 per week after deduction of the personal contribution.
