HC Deb 02 July 1973 vol 859 c7W
26. Mr. Hugh Jenkins

asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he has now reached an agreement with the French Government on the location for the production line of Concorde.

Mr. Michael Heseltine

No proposals have been put before the British and French Governments to alter the present locations of production and assembly.

38. Mr. Biffen

asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what is the estimated effect of the increased estimated development costs of the Concorde on both price and sales of aircraft.

Mr. Michael Heseltine

None. The selling price has to take account of a number of factors and successive administrations have recognised that only part of the development costs would be recovered.
