30. Mr. Willey

asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what progress he has made in the construction of 17 advance factories in the Northern Region; and if he will give the dates on which it is expected each of the factories will be completed.

Preliminary work is well in hand, and all the factories should be completed during the next financial year.
