§ Mr. Gordon CampbellThe only JP small debt courts in which business has been conducted in the last three years are those in Glasgow, which disposed of 248 cases in 1972. The future of the JP small debt court will be covered in the statement which I shall be making in due course on the future of lay summary courts in Scotland.
