asked the Secretary of State for Scotland (1) what is the number of physiotherapists employed by the North Ayrshire Hospital Board;

(2) how many physiotherapists are employed by the North Ayrshire Hospital Board on a full-time basis;

(3) what is the number of vacancies for physiotherapists in the North Ayrshire Hospital Board area.

Mr. Gordon Campbell

There are 10 whole-time and nine part-time physiotherapists employed by the hospital board, and vacancies equivalent to nine whole-time posts.
