§ 32. Mr. Willeyasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry whether he will set up an inquiry into the practice of requiring thumb prints on cheques and the compilation of a record of thumb prints.
§ Mr. EmeryI am not convinced of the need for an inquiry. However, if the right hon. Member has evidence that the practice is being abused, I suggest that he sends it to the Director General of Fair Trading.
