JosephIt is planned that the hospital services for deaf people should progressively include follow-up and rehabilitation services and that the local authority should provide the social work component needed. Developments in these services will be among the matters appropriate for review by the joint consultative committees to be set up under Section 10 of the National Health Service Reorganisation Act 1973.
