§ 30. Mr. Biggs-Davisonasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will ensure that United Kingdom aid to Zambia is devoted to purposes other than the rerouting of her trade with the outside world, in view of his efforts for a settlement with Rhodesia.
§ Mr. WoodThe purpose of our aid to Zambia is to assist the development of its economy and resources to the greatest benefit of its people. I am now discussing with the Zambians the best use that can be made, in the light of development needs, of the loan of £1 million for transport equipment.
