§ Mr. NottOn the basis of the change in real personal disposable income per head the rise in the standard of living between 1971 and 1972 was over 6¾ per cent. This compares with the average annual increase of 1½ per cent. between the fourth quarter of 1964 and the second quarter of 1970.
