The proposals were submitted by the Bristol Avon River Authority for grant-aid on 18th April 1972. Most of the time since then has been taken up in obtaining essential additional technical 10W and economic information. Our assessment of this is nearly complete but we still need clarification of one or two outstanding points.

This is a complicated scheme but I am not aware of any difficulties in the design stage which have arisen this year.
