§ Mr. Staintonasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he is yet in a position to announce the basis on which the grant aiding to British Railways in respect of the East Suffolk line will be continued, in view of the fact that the present arrangements are due to expire at the end of this year.
§ Mr. PeytonI have no plans to change the basis on which grants for loss-making rail services are made.
