§ Mr. Eldon GriffithsGrants for sport, including grants to governing bodies and clubs, are a matter for the Sports Council, which takes account of all relevant considerations. On the impact of VAT on charities, I would refer the hon. Member to what was said by my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer during the discussion on Report of Clause 15 of the Finance Bill on 12th July last.
