HC Deb 17 October 1972 vol 843 c60W
Mr. Arthur Lewis

asked the Attorney-General when he intends to reply to the communications sent to him in January, February, March and July, 1972, by Mr. R. Bruce concerning unlawful entry and theft by ex-Detective Inspector Ronald Larby; and if he will make a statement.

The Solicitor-General

No letters have been received from Mr. R. Bruce. Letters from a Mrs. K. Bruce were addressed to the Director of Public Prosecutions who replied to them. The Director considers that the evidence is not sufficiently strong to justify criminal proceedings in respect of complaints made in those letters, and I agree with this opinion.
