asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what representations about the future of King James's Grammar School. Huddersfield, she has received from the Huddersfield Education Committee; what has been her reply; and whether she will make a statement.

My right hon. Friend has received no representations from the Huddersfield local education authority about the future of King James's Grammar School since she made her decisions on the authority's statutory proposals on 27th March, 1972.
