§ Mr. Kilfedderasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether he will seek talks with the United States and Russian Governments in order to reduce fighting in the Middle East and to reach a settlement which would enable the Palestinian refugees to return to their homes.
§ Lord BalnielWe are already involved in talks with the parties to the dispute and the other Governments concerned to promote a settlement based on Security Council Resolution 242 which will include a just settlement of the refugee problem.
