§ Mr. Kilfedderasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether, in his discussions with the Icelandic Government, he will bear in mind the legitimate right of any country to protect the rights of its basic means of livelihood.
§ Mr. AmeryThroughout our negotiations with Iceland we have expressed our readiness to collaborate in conservation measures and to comply with any preferential requirements which might be agreed in the light of Iceland's dependence upon the fishing grounds under dispute and the interests of other States.
