§ Mr. CarlisleI understand that since 1st January, 1972, 10 defendants convicted of the unlicensed use of a television set have been granted absolute discharges by magistrates' courts in Wales. The cases were dealt with by the courts at Whitland, Carmarthenshire; Talybont, Cardiganshire; Cardiff (two cases); and Bangor (six cases).
