HC Deb 24 May 1972 vol 837 c379W
50 and 51. Mr. Hooson

asked the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications (1) how many television relay stations have been erected in mid-Wales in the course of the last two years: and how many are projected;

(2) what plans he has for the extension of television coverage in the mid-Wales area where the present coverage is poorer than in the rest of the country.

Sir J. Eden

No television relay stations have been erected in mid-Wales in the past two years. The BBC and ITA plans for the area are not yet advanced to the stage when they can be announced.
