§ Sir K. JosephIt is intended shortly to make an order bringing into operation the provisions in Section 93 of the Medicines Act that make it an offence to issue false or misleading advertisements, or advertisements including recommendations for uses other than those specified in the product licence. I see no advantage in seeking powers to introduce a system for requiring corrective advertisements to be issued.
