§ Mr. AlisonThe Committee on Safety of Medicines established under the Medicines Act, 1968, gives the licensing 235W authority advice with respect to safety, quality and efficacy of medicines; questions of comparative efficacy may not be taken into account except in the context of safety. We have no proposals for other evaluations of the kind suggested by the hon. Member.
