§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what his estimate is of the increase in the individual retirement pension for both single persons and married couples on the basis of allocating a further £1,000 million for this purpose.
§ Mr. DeanThe estimate is £2.70 single and £4.40 married on the assumption that there were no increases in other national insurance benefit or supplementary benefit.
