HC Deb 09 May 1972 vol 836 cc359-60W
Mr. Roderick

asked the Secretary of State for Wales if he will reconsider his decision not to support the resiting of the sewage works at Howey, Llandrindod Wells, in view of the risk of atmospheric pollution from the extension of the existing works, and in view of the extra funds now available for environmental purposes.

Mr. Peter Thomas

No such decision was made, since this is a matter for the local authority.

Mr. Alec Jones

asked the Secretary of State for Wales if he will publish a table indicating the number and location of training places for physiotherapists in Wales.

Mr. Peter Thomas

The only training school for physiotherapists in Wales is at the Cardiff Royal Infirmary. It can take approximately 30 students a year, but in many years there has been a shortage of suitable applicants.
