§ Mr. Roderickasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science how many student places are available in the universities of England, and how many in Wales, for training school counsellors; and at which colleges these courses are based.
Mr. van StrauhenzeeI understand that in England 126 students are at present taking full-time or part-time courses for the training of school counsellors at the Universities of Aston, Bristol, Exeter, Keele, Manchester, Newcastle, Reading and Sheffield. In Wales 21 students are taking a course at University College, Swansea.
