§ Mr. Roseasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will seek to amend the Race Relations Acts to cover social and other clubs which purport to be open to the general public for membership.
§ Mr. LaneA case that bears on the application of the Race Relations Act, 1968, to clubs is at present subject to an appeal. I would prefer not to comment meanwhile.
