§ Mr. Chichester-Clark:Officers of my Department had separate talks with representatives of the company and the Technical and Supervisory Section of the Amalgamated Union of Engineering Workers on 13th April but it was not possible to find a basis for settlement. The parties are meeting for further discussions today.
