§ Mr. Hardyasked the Secretary of State for the Environment on what date the estimate that 1¾ million council tenants will qualify for rent rebate was made; and on what date he will be prepared to revise this figure to take account of increased wages, salaries and other income.
§ Mr. AmeryThe estimates which I gave in Standing Committee E on 16th Decembed last—col. 429 of Official Report—were the best that could be made that day. I will review them as frequently as may be desirable.
