§ Mr. Maurice MacmillanThe rate is 1p per gallon, and the revenue in 1971 is282W estimated to have been £131 million. No estimate for 1972 is yet available. The duty was not introduced until 1961, and the revenue was £91 million in 1967 and £58 million in 1962.
