Mr. Geoffrey Finsbergasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what is the average time taken by rent officers to process applications for fair rent following the submission of a qualification certificate both in Inner London and in Outer London; and what are the comparable average times in cases which go on appeal to Rent Assessment Panels.
§ Mr. EyreWe do not keep records of the time taken by rent officers and rent assessment committees to process applications, but if my hon. Friend has any particular case in mind, I shall look at it.
