§ Mr. Lomasasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what representation he has received asking him to seek to amend the Shops Act, 1950.
§ Mr. LaneDuring the past two years the Home Office has received about 30 representations in favour of relaxing restrictions on Sunday trading; and about 25 urging changes relating to evening opening hours, early closing day, Good Friday opening, mobile traders, and Moslem traders.
