When the link Motorway between M.1 and M.6 will be fully open to traffic.

It has been necessary to examine and, in some places, to strengthen the box girder sections of bridges on the final length of the M.6 from Great Barr to Castle Bromwich. Provided no further shortfalls are disclosed in the remaining stage of the examination, the opening should be in May.
