§ Mr. John Pageasked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he will take steps to tighten-up the administration of existing legislation or introduce new legislation to ensure that people working exclusively for an encyclopedia or other company, even though on a commission-only basis, are the responsibility of such a company so far as National Insurance stamps are concerned.
§ Mr. DeanI have already written to my hon. Friend about the general position of persons paid on a commission basis, and as I said if he will let me have details I will look into any particular case he may have in mind.
I have no evidence of any need for new legislation.
